Apparently Downie has plain scared the sheet out of Dan Gallotto.
Once again Dan could not make the game, and
now Muzz has shown up more than he has.
The blue team owned the first period, but
the forwards would miss too many breakaways, then fall apart in the 2nd
and 3rd periods along with their goalie.
TO tried to resurrect the team in the 2nd
with a sweet pass to Weinberg for a goal. But aside from that Weinberg
played as bad as Fowler did.
The silver Amber team is just too stacked,
especially with 9th round pick Andy Bencal scoring from all over the rink.
Game notes:
Philbrook is undefeated since leaving the
Houlihan administration. Is Fitzy the
new AK ? Botolino was 1 for 7 in
stopping shots from center ice.
Gardner would have had 9 points if someone, anyone would have scored on
one of his breakaway passes. Fowler
tricked Gardner into playing. Next time let him sleep...
Mullen and Sully conspired in the sandbagging
effort. Matt McDonald could be the
new Downie. Atleast that's what Danielle Armstrong says.
