This one was a tale of Two Goats. Both deserved of the horns, but also both deserved of praise. With the score 4-4 in the third, Jay Alberts coughed up the ball to John "Mr. OT" Houlihan. Houls raced in on Moth Balls and scored his 2nd of what would end up being a 3 goal night, to put the gold team up 5-4. 49 seconds later, Alberts went coast to coast and blasted a shot by Jay Brown to tie it. Albert would go coast to coast again, and score a Crosby style goal to put his team up 6-5. Houls not to be outdone, would score his third of the game after a rare Machine Gun Kelly goal, and the gold team was back on top at 7-6. The Alberts show wasn't over yet though. He went coast to coast one more time, and this time spoon fed Kyle from behind the net for a goal out front, and with 2:25 left in the third it was knotted at 7-7. In OT Houls proclaimed, "I'm here to win," and promptly sat his own OT choking ass on the bench. Nick Rao did see some OT action, and he was finding a groove back on defense. "It's strange being back on defense, and more strange being back there all by myself on all those three on ones," said Rao. Brad Linehan already had a goal in this one, then made the gave saving play in OT, as he raced Machine Gun Kelly to the orange net as OT was expiring, just forcing Kelly to shoot before he was ready, and Moth Balls made the save at the buzzer, as it ended in a tie. Some game notes: Jake had a nice assist in the 2nd period, just minutes after arriving, as his shot hit Brad's stick and rolled in. Sean Andrews continues to play great hockey for one period. Bill St. Pierre has yet to score a goal that wasn't assisted on by Kyle. Shots were 42-24 in favor of the orange team. Rick Olson finished the game.
