Ryan Hayes not only had to stand on his
head, he had to do some old fashioned break dancing maneuvers just to stay
alive on Tuesday night. (See photo above)
Twenty shots and six goals later, the blue
Chasey team had basically put this one away after one period.
Kyle would have to spend the rest of the
game trying to get the orange team back in the game all by himself. The
same went for Billy, B-Rad, Justin, Burdick, and Alberts.
The blue team held a 10-3 lead heading into
the final period, but with Botolino in net, they knew the lead was not
safe.
"We're gonna need 12 or 13 to win this
one," said TO. And he was right.
The orange team scored four times in the
third to close the gap. Luckily Dan Armstrong would have his first good
game in months. He racked up 5 goals and 0 assists in the absence of Scott
Fowler, as the blue Chasey team skated away with a 12-7 nail biter.
After the game Burdick was calling his
agent to revise his no trade clause.
