"Everything just worked or us today, including Ernie's 160 foot shots," said Spuglio. "I was hitting the net for a change, and I found that passing gets you assists." "I don't think we've ever played the entire game," said Ernie. "One of us always storms off and breaks a stick. Today we stuck it out, and held on for the win." Two big goals by Spuglio in the third put the light blue team up 8-6. A sub goal by Ryan Rizzo cut the lead to just 8-7. That would be as close as the Grinches would get. "I think Billy found a home back on defense," said Rizzo. "All he's gotta do to get a point is get the ball up to guys like me, Katz, and Niemi, and we'll do the rest."
