When Bryan Marshall racks up six points, if
he's on your team it means a win for you.
Murf had half as many for the Wise Men, and
while that usually means a win too, that was trumped by the Marshall
effort.
"Without Joe in my way, I can spread my
wings and be the real me," said Marshall.
Marshall had a goal and a helper in the
first to get his team off to a 3-2 lead.
Then the little people stepped it up. The
no names. The forgotten ones, etc. Jordache, Ravi, and Tyrone all scored
as the Snowmen built up an 8-4 second period lead.
Sub Downgrade Ray Binky is not Greg Zall, but
he did have a couple of goals for the winning team.
"I can see how Zall would be the scoring
leader on this team behind Marshall," said Binky.
The Wise Men had a Surrette size rally in the
third, but it ended with Murf's 2nd of the game with 2:53 to go, and they
fell to Frosty and the Snowmen 9-7.
"Do we still have Smack on our team," asked
Murf.
