The trade that brought George LB to the Army
may be only for one week.With Devin
now officially cut from the team, it allows Gardner to rejoin the Army and
send George off to a different team.
"It's not that we don't want George, it's
that we don't like him," said Pete Norton.
"I only played today because we were playing
Spuglio's team," said Gardner. "I couldn't pass up the points."
It was close after one with the Army up 2-1,
then the red team exploded for 14 goals to blow out the Blizzard 16-8, in
a game in which there was no defense to be found for either team.
"Atleast they didn't hit the mercy rule again
this week," said embattled Blizzard goalie Ken Plourde.
"Maybe they'll trade us George for Ray," said
Spuglio.
