These teams are evenly matched. No goaltending. No offense. And two captains still learning the ropes. So it's no surprise neither team won. The only player who had more than one goal was Snowmen sub player Tyrone Roberts. There's a good chance he will stick around on the orange team for a while, which is real good news seeing that Bryan Marshall and Joe Furugori are too busy taking penalties to score. For the Wise Men, Dan Armstrong has been known to score six goals in a game. Then again Kevin Murphy scored in this game, so all logic goes out the window. Jordan Smith had a goal, and paid us 10 bucks to mention that on the website. (That bought me seven wings at Hooters. Luckily I didn't have to tip Rick Olson's mom because she knows me.) And it was only fitting that Mike Gaff had a goal while subbing in. Read more about Gaff on the forum.
In the shootout there were six shots taken,
two goals, three misses, and one save. Doesn't get any more mediocre than
that. |
