Usually it takes several weeks for Craig Murray to get a win. Going up against rookie captain Jeremy Socia and his overrated goalie Frosty Collins in week one, Muzz managed to get his first half of the season token win out of the way early. "I'd like to think this won't be our only win in the first half of the season," said Muzz. "As long as Greg Martinez and Jack Brennan can keep popping in the odd goal, and Wayne stops thinking he's Bobby Orr, we may just get one or two wins more before the half way point." "I can't believe he picked me again," noted Wayne. "Two seasons ago we were both so far out of position, we kept running into each other behind the other team's net." The Snowmen kept up for a period or so, as Greg Zall netted three straight goals for the orange team to keep the game tied. But four third period goals by the Black Ice would melt the Snowmen. "Could you tell Bryan Marshall was playing defense for them today?" laughed sub Joe Mullen. "Hey, I only had 3 turnovers that led to goals today," explained Marshall. "Just wait until I get Joe Furugori on my line. Then we'll see about turnovers."
